Day 1 Europe - Miami
Arrival at Miami and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Miami.
Day 2 Miami - Everglades National park - Fort Myers
Highlight of the day is Everglades National park. The drive through the park gives you the chance to sample alligators and crocodiles so close that you can almost stroke them. A trip with an airboat is also on the program. Afterwards we continue to Fort Myers, where you will spend the night.
Day 3 Fort Myers Beach - St. Petersburg Beach
From Fort Myers along the beautiful beaches of Gulf coast the route goes to Sarasota where you will stop for lunch first (optional). In the late evening you reach St. Petersburg. Overnight in St. Petersburg.
Day 4 St. Petersburg - Panama City Beach
The tour for today leads through inland, which is full with orange and lemon plantations, to the region of Ocala. It is famous for horse breeding. Along the coast we continue north to Panama City Beach, a very lively resort and poplar at the young and young at heart. In the evening you could try your luck in one of the casinos. Overnight in Panama City.
Day 5 Panama City - Mobile - New Orleans - km 610
In the morning the drive goes along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico over Pensacola to Mobile. Here you visit Alabama, flagship which was in use until the World War II. At that time there was at least 3000 men crew on board. We precede our tour along the Gulf to New Orleans, our destination for today. In the evening we suggest to take a stroll over the Bourbon Street. Overnight in New Orleans.
Day 6 New Orleans
Today you can go through this fascinating city with a local guide. Enjoy a walk along the Mississippi River and in the French quarter. The afternoon is free. A unique experience is a paddle steamer ride with music on the Mississippi River (optional). Overnight in New Orleans.
Day 7 New Orleans - Hammond - Jackson - Memphis - km 640
Early departure from New Orleans to cross the Great Northern Railroad, the longest in the world. We continue through the state of Mississippi, the country of manors and magnolia trees. We will spend a lunch break in the federal capital of Jackson and reach Memphis in the late afternoon. Overnight in Memphis.
Day 8 Memphis - Nashville - km 345
In the morning you get to know the rhythmic city of Memphis, the capital of blues, during a short orientation drive. You will follow the trail of Elvis Presley and get to know an exceptional duck parade. In the afternoon we continue to Nashville, a place where country music and whiskey is written big. Well-known singers like Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Barbara Mandrel are just a few names who brought country music to success in this city. You can spend the evening in a saloon with live-country music - depending on the program. Overnight in Nashville.
Day 9 Nashville - Chattanooga - Atlanta
We say good bye to Nashville and further over the I24 to Southeast, where we cross the Tennessee River in front of Chattanooga, the state is named after the river. Chattanooga was especially popular in war of North-South states, because of the victory that the South gained against the North in 1863. In the afternoon we will reach Atlanta. During an orientation ride through the capital of Georgia we show the highlights of this metropolis at the end of Great Smoky Mt. Atlanta is also popular as Coca-Cola-capital. You have the possibility to view the famous Coca-Cola-Museum. The rest of the day is free for you. Visit the CNN studio in Atlanta or underground City. Overnight in Atlanta.
Day 10 Atlanta - Charleston - Savannah
We continue our journey East to our highlight of today the 'Boone Hall Plantation' an old confederate house - conserved in original, well-known from the TV series 'North & South' and 'Scarlett'. The way of living of the rich Southerner is introduced to you with a tour. In the area on the way to Savannah we get into the time of Mr. Butler a Scarlett O'Hara. In the late evening we reach Savannah well-known because of the cotton wool industry. Overnight in Savannah. You can spend the evening at the River walk with its little restaurants.
Day 11 Savannah - St. Augustine - Orlando - 475 km
Today we get to know the oldest city of the land, St. Augustine. This city - founded in 1565 by the Spanish - still has a strong Spanish style. Later continue to Daytona- and Flagler Beach and along the coast through orange plantations to Orlando, the largest city of Florida. In the evening, as optional we offer you a special attraction: Arabian Night show where a four-course menu is served to you, in addition you get a musical show. Overnight in Orlando.
Day 12 Orlando
Free day and you can create the day by yourself. We suggest a visit to the Epcot Center, where the world was copied in miniature; countries like Australia, Canada, China, Japan, Italy, France and Germany present themselves in different ways. In IMAX cinema or arts and crafts - here you can get to know the respective country. Even the Hofbräuhaus with German brass music and Bavarian folk dance invite you to stay. The crowned end after sunset forms gigantic fireworks. Overnight in Orlando.
Day 13 Orlando - Miami Beach
In the morning you visit the popular Kennedy Space Center, a space travel center as starting point for space shuttles on their way into the universe. A special adventure is IMAX cinema with 'City in Space'. This 3-D movie tries to reflect life in universe. Afterwards we continue our journey along the coast over Port St. Lucie, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale to Miami. Overnight in Miami.
Day 14 Miami Beach - Key West - Miami
Today you can relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine. As optional we offer you to join on a trip to the romantic town Key West. Over bridges and little islands the way leads to the southernmost point of North America. This dream city attracted Ernest Hemingway who wrote a lot of his masterpieces here and whose house still can be inspected. An unforgettable experience! Overnight in Miami.
Day 15 Miami - Departure
This morning as optional you can do a city tour, where you will be able to see the highlights of the cit, as Art Deco District in South Beach, Downtown and the suburbs of Miami. Later transfer to the airport for your return flight.
